Founded in 2018, Rising Hope Bakery is a social enterprise and subsidiary of the Michigan nonprofit organization Zaman International. Rising Hope Bakery employs women who have graduated from Zaman’s workforce development and culinary arts vocational training programs. Housed in the organization’s Hope for Humanity Center in Inkster, MI, our bakery offers a safe space where graduates can adjust to working culture while gaining on-the-job experience before transitioning to outside employment.
Every purchases from Rising Hope Bakery helps create employment opportunities for women who are working to lift their families out of poverty.
